The first test flight of the drone took place during the “Tour de Alps 2021” road trip through the Alpine countries. Over the course of five days, the drone flew lightly in Austria, then it was used in Slovenia, from where it moved through northern Italy to Switzerland, the main destination of the trip. Then a big cloud rolled in, bringing solid, steady rain. That meant we had to change our plans and head back to the Czech Republic (we did make it through Liechtenstein and Germany, though). Unfortunately, the cloud was moving pretty fast in the northeast direction, which meant we couldn’t do the planned stops in Bavaria and the Tyrolean Alps around Innsbruck. Next time!
